Blue Dream gains space in laboratories and becomes a scientific reference

The Blue Dream variety, well known in the regulated markets of North America for its light and euphoric cerebral effect, often associated with states of focus, creativity, and well-being, is beginning to stand out in laboratories as well due to its genetic stability and consistency in cannabinoid and terpene profiles.

Stable variety favors studies

According to the publication, researchers have turned to Blue Dream for offering something still rare in cannabis science: predictability. The genetics derived from Blueberry and Haze maintain a more uniform chemical pattern, which facilitates comparison between analyses and reduces variations that often hinder result replication.

This characteristic has led the variety to be used in at least ten studies throughout 2025.

Among the studies cited are investigations into the potential of cannabinoid compounds in oncological, dermatological, neuropsychiatric treatments, and anxiety models.

In several of them, whole plant extracts or combinations of THC, CBD, and CBG showed positive responses with no significant adverse effects.

Although standardization favors research, it should not limit access to other varieties or create exclusivity in the scientific field.
