Amid a routine of deliveries that already cover all of Brazil, an unusual episode caught the attention of Mile Express's commercial manager, Paula Scanapieco.

During her participation in Deusa Cast, a podcast by Portal Sechat, she mentioned that a delivery was delayed because it needed to reach a hard-to-access location: Oiapoque, in the far north of the country.
Amid laughter, Paula recalled that she never imagined seeing the saying “from Oiapoque to Chuí” become a reality. The story, more than a curiosity, symbolizes the reach of a silent revolution: medicinal cannabis is already reaching unexpected places and, at the pace of growth, it will go even further.
The Journey of Cannabis in Brazil
According to data updated by Anvisa until August 2025, over 571 thousand import requests for cannabis-based products have been registered since 2015. Just this year, between January and August, there have already been over 107 thousand requests, reflecting the increasing demand in all regions of the country.
This progress shows that cannabis is no longer a topic restricted to large urban centers. Today, doctors in small towns prescribe, city halls seek bids, and patients in remote areas find hope for treatment in CBD.
“Soon, we will have people in every little town benefiting from this medication,” Paula predicts. “Here at Mile, we have fun with the names of the cities. There are places where traditional e-commerce doesn’t even reach, but cannabis has already arrived,” she shared.
From Challenge to Revolution
Anvisa points out that products imported by RDC 660 do not undergo direct evaluation by the agency, but the exponential increase in requests reflects the population's urgency to access cannabis medicine.
From north to south, from paved roads to dirt paths, each delivery carries more than just a box: it carries the possibility of a better life. And perhaps this is the greatest proof that cannabis, as Paula says: “will reach wherever it needs to reach”.
