The official lists published by the National Authority of Medicines and Health Products I.P. (Infarmed) have undergone significant changes.
The companies Qanali, Lda. (NIF 515558508, district of Coimbra) and Batherafarm Unipessoal, Lda. (NIF 515011193, district of Setúbal), are no longer listed among the entities with active licenses in the categories of cultivation, import, and export.
The latter is also not on the Infarmed portal in the category of manufacturing medical cannabis, according to an analysis conducted by CannaReporter.
The update represents a relevant change in the composition of the national market, as both companies were listed in previous listings with valid authorizations. Infarmed has not yet issued any public statement clarifying the reasons for the removal, which may be related to expiration, non-renewal of licenses, or internal administrative changes.
