In addition to producing original content, we provide a market thermometer, presenting data, innovations, technologies, and trends that can guide decision-making for the sector's major players.
The mission of Sechat’s journalism team is to promote debate about cannabis, grounded in scientific studies and real patient cases, and to this end, it relies on the curation of Dr. Pedro Pierro, the platform’s scientific director.
We are also committed to fostering the growth of the cannabis market, one of the most promising in the world. In this journey toward the advancement of endocannabinoid medicine, we focus on three areas of communication: informing the public about the health benefits of cannabis, supporting professionals who prescribe plant-based products, and strengthening the industry responsible for providing derivatives that meet sector demand.
With the growth of the market, Sechat has adapted its fronts to keep up with the industry's evolution, offering support in information, professional training, and business opportunities, always maintaining the commitment to promote safe and conscious access to cannabis-derived products.

SECHAT FEED.png Where does the name Sechat come from?
The name Sechat was inspired by the story of the goddess Seshat, who was worshiped by the Egyptians around 3000 B.C. as the goddess associated with writing, astronomy, architecture, and mathematics. Her name means “the one who writes.” She was also given the titles of “Lady of the Books” or “Lady of the Builders” and was always depicted with what historians believe to be a cannabis leaf atop her head, symbolizing advanced knowledge for the time regarding the therapeutic and medicinal properties of the herb.
