The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has determined the prohibition of the commercialization and advertising of the product Cannabis Oil Full Spectrum Oil 6,000 mg, from the brand Leve CBD.
The measure was taken after it was found that the oil does not have registration or authorization from the Agency, and its origin is unknown.
The report attempted to contact the company Leve CBD to obtain a statement regarding the prohibition, but there was no response by the time of this article's deadline.
Public Health Risk
Anvisa warns that products without proper registration or regularization do not guarantee quality, safety, and efficacy, posing serious health risks to consumers. For this reason, the Agency does not recommend the use of this type of product.
Anvisa advises the population to report the commercialization of irregular products. Reports can be made through the Ombudsman or by calling the Customer Service Center (0800 642 9782) of the Agency.
