The documentary "Cannabis + Creativity" dives headfirst into the intriguing relationship between cannabis and the creative mind. This film, produced by a team of talented professionals, is a window into the world of art and the inspiration that the plant can offer.

At the heart of this exploration, some American artists bring their uniqueness to the narrative. Executive produced by Etain and Dr. Nancy B. Austin, the project came to life through the hands of director and producer Elana Frankel, in partnership with Kassia Graham and the collaboration of Cabin Creek Films.

Elana Frankel invites us to delve into the universe of creatives, provocatively questioning: "Can cannabis enhance creativity? We decided to find some answers in our documentary 'Cannabis + Creativity.' We follow the creative process of six people from diverse backgrounds and professions to discover how the plant supports their lifestyle. They experiment, take risks, break rules, and have fun, but in the end, they all use cannabis as a tool to express themselves."

The film delves deeply into the personal and professional lives of these six artists, uncovering secrets and revealing the uniqueness of their creative processes. Composers and musicians, poets and designers - a variety of brilliant minds sharing how cannabis has become an integral part of their creative journey.

To add even more depth to this narrative, a skeptical grandmother enters the scene, representing the generational divide in cannabis use. Her doubts offer an intriguing contrast to the creators' passion, stimulating an engaging discussion about the role of cannabis in contemporary art and innovation.

Etain, the pioneering medical cannabis dispensary founded by women in New York, stands out as a key supporter of this documentary. Jes Feuer, Etain's marketing director, shares the company's pride in supporting the film's production, emphasizing that "cannabis has not only helped them heal and manage their daily lives but also given them meaning and strengthened them through their own creative efforts."

Inviting viewers on a journey of reflection, "Cannabis + Creativity" sheds light on the intersection between cannabis consumption and artistic innovation. The official premiere was at the Catskill International Film Festival on October 22nd. Its next showing is scheduled for November 6th at Housing Works Bookstore in New York at 6 pm and will subsequently be distributed on major streaming channels.
