The Brazilian Medicinal Cannabis Congress (CBCM) is holding its 5th edition, established as the main scientific and professional event dedicated to medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp in Brazil. Recognized for its technical quality and scientific rigor, the congress gathers, over three days, experts from different areas to discuss advances, challenges, and prospects of the sector.
The event connects doctors, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, researchers, industry professionals, agribusiness representatives, as well as members of the public sector and academia. The goal is to promote technical updates, high-level debates, and qualified networking in a multidisciplinary environment.
The CBCM program is developed by the congress's Scientific Committee, composed of national and international reference experts. The group is responsible for ensuring the relevance of the topics, scientific consistency, and the timeliness of the content presented.
Multidisciplinary program reflects sector evolution
The congress content is organized into complementary modules, following the expansion and diversification of the medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp market in Brazil.
The MedCan, lasting three days, focuses on clinical and scientific aspects, mainly targeting prescribers and healthcare professionals. The OdontoCannabis addresses the therapeutic applications of cannabis in dentistry, while the VetCannabis discusses veterinary use and advances in animal care.
The QuimFarma module deals with topics related to pharmaceutical chemistry, extraction processes, and formulation development. In the Business axis, the focus is on regulatory landscape and market perspectives. On the other hand, Agro & Tech, with a two-day program held in partnership with Embrapa, explores cultivation, applied technologies, and the productive potential of the plant.
Science, updates, and networking
In addition to lectures and panels, participants have access to scientific work presentations, prominent speakers, and strategic networking opportunities. The congress stands as a space for knowledge exchange and professional strengthening in a sector undergoing constant transformation.
More than a scientific event, the CBCM consolidates itself as a meeting point for professionals seeking to understand regulatory changes, keep up with scientific advancements, and actively participate in shaping the future of medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp in Brazil.
