1st Symposium 'Science in Bloom' discusses medicinal and cultural uses of cannabis in Bahia

On October 30th and 31st, the State University of Southwest Bahia (Uesb) will hold the 1st Symposium Science in Bloom: Cannabis and other plants, with the aim of expanding the debate on the medicinal, social, and cultural uses of cannabis, valuing both scientific knowledge and traditional wisdom.

The program will start at 8 am on the 30th, at the Waly Salomão Auditorium, Jequié campus. The event will also feature the Mini-course Cannabinoids: from Drug Discovery to clinical research, conducted by Dr. Micheline Donato, and the Popular Education in Health Workshop, coordinated by Flávia Cabral.
