Program and Highlights
The 2025 edition of the Brazilian Medicinal Cannabis Congress will present relevant innovations, with a focus on the inclusion of the Agro Tech Cannabis module, carried out in a unique partnership with EMBRAPA. For the first time, the public agricultural research institution will officially participate in the event, leading discussions on cannabis and hemp cultivation in Brazil. The program will address topics such as regulation, sustainability, and the economic potential of these crops, which experts have identified as potential leaders in the national agribusiness sector.
It is expected that on May 19, Anvisa and the Ministry of Agriculture will officially announce the regulations for cannabis cultivation in the country, which could unlock a market estimated at R$ 26 billion per year, according to the Kaya Mind consultancy. Additionally, the congress will expand digital access to its technical-scientific program, with live broadcasts throughout the national territory, promoting the dissemination of knowledge on the advances of cannabis in health, industry, and regenerative agriculture.
The program of CBCM 2025 will be divided into six thematic modules:
MedCan – Specialties: will address the advanced use of cannabis in different medical specialties.
MedCan – Endocannabinoid System: will focus on basic and clinical training on the endocannabinoid system.
Odonto Cannabis: will explore the dental applications of cannabis.
Vet Cannabis: will discuss the veterinary use of cannabis.
Business Cannabis: will cover business and investments in the sector.
