The capixaba fighter Bruno Altoé, in the super heavyweight category, achieved another significant victory by becoming a two-time champion of the Pan-American championship of the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation), held at Osceola Heritage Park in Florida, USA.
Bruno, who currently leads the rankings in his category, faced three fights during the championship. His first fight was already noteworthy, defeating Augusto Sakai, a UFC athlete and favorite in the category.

"It was like an early final because the first fight practically defined the championship, as there was this athlete who was a star in the event, had all the favoritism..., but, I went there and made history!", shared an enthusiastic Bruno.
Despite the difficulties of balancing training with his responsibilities at the company in Brazil, Bruno managed to prepare satisfactorily, with the support of the athlete Jacaré's academy, also from the UFC, and having the opportunity to train with Xande Ribeiro, one of the world references in jiu-jitsu.
"This result represented the overcoming work that I had to do, balancing training with my work and dedication to my family. So, it was very difficult to arrive after work, have to train and still go compete in a high-level championship and bring home a gold medal. It was a feeling of accomplishment for having the resilience to overcome the difficulties during the preparation period," explained Bruno Altoé.
In this journey of intense competitions, Altoé highlights the benefits of the medicinal compounds of the Cannabis sativa plant, cannabinoid therapy is an important ally that helps in better physical condition recovery, sleep quality, and anxiety control. "The products have been essential for me, not only in relieving muscle pain and recovering after training but also emotionally. Its main benefit is the ability to significantly reduce my anxiety in the days leading up to competitions," he says.
His next challenge will be the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship next month.
"I thank my family (my wife and son), my sponsors, my supporters, my team, and everyone who cheered and celebrated with me in this championship," concluded the athlete.
