In an interview for Harper's Bazaar, published this Tuesday, 10th, singer Beyoncé reveals she owns a cannabis plantation and joins the list of celebrities investing in the plant

Beyoncé talked about her personal experience with marijuana use and revealed to have a cannabis plantation on a farm during an interview with Harper's Bazaar, published this Tuesday, 10th, the magazine of which the singer is the August cover.
On that occasion, the artist openly stated that she turns to CBD (cannabidiol) to combat stress, as well as physical pains and inflammations, and mentioned having started growing marijuana exclusively on a farm.
"During quarantine, I went from excess to creating positive rituals inspired by previous generations and putting my own interpretation on things. I discovered CBD on my last tour and experienced its benefits for pains and inflammations. This helped with my nights and the restlessness that comes from not being able to sleep," said the singer to the magazine.

The Canadian rapper launched his own cannabis brand in his home country in 2019. Named More Life Growth Company, the venture is a partnership with the giant marijuana producer Canopy Growth Corp - which received $4 billion in investments in 2018.
According to the agreement, Drake will own 60% of the brand. "The idea of being able to build something special in an industry that is always growing has been inspiring," he said at the time in a press release, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The world boxing legend recently decided to invest in the cannabis market and saw his financial life get back on track after numerous problems throughout his career as a boxer. In 2003, he even declared bankruptcy after losing $300 million.
Tyson invests in growing plant varieties on a property of approximately 160,000 square meters in California called Tyson Ranch. It is there that the raw material comes out to manufacture products from his brand, Tyson Holistic Holdings.
In the portfolio, there are snacks, muscle relaxants, grinders, and herb for adult consumption. The revenue reaches $500,000 per month, about R$3 million.

Oscar winner for Ghost - The Other Side of Life, in 1991, the American actress ventured into the medicinal cannabis market in 2016. Alongside entrepreneur Maya Elisabeth, Goldberg launched Whoopi & Maya.
The company focuses specifically on providing medicinal cannabis for women suffering from menstrual pains. However, in early 2020, the company came to an end after personal rifts and issues throughout its trajectory.

The Californian rapper has his own brand of cannabis flowers, Leafs by Snoop, which sells the Indica and Sativa varieties of the herb. "Leafs by Snoop is the world's first mainstream cannabis brand, and I am very happy to be a pioneer," said the artist at the launch event of the endeavor in 2015.
In 2018, alongside two other partners, Snoop created an investment fund focused on the cannabis market. Named Casa Verde Capital, the fund received a second round of investments in December 2020 in the amount of $100 million, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Announced last November, the first official collection of Ginger, a brand founded by the global actress in conjunction with entrepreneur Vanessa Ribeiro, was produced with hemp, a plant from the same cannabis family.
The new batch of clothes will have 24 pieces, including t-shirts, bodysuits, and tank tops with hemp-based fibers that, according to the brand, are used to shape the pieces.
The list is still quite extensive and includes names like rapper Jay-Z, Mexican guitarist Carlos Santana, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and singer Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray Cyrus, all with strong investments in the market and different products derived from cannabis. In Brazil, we are still taking baby steps, but with the advancement of other countries on the subject, we are unlikely to be left out of this new "green wave".
