Follow Live: Anvisa now debates revision of RDC 327 and cultivation

Anvisa directors meet this Wednesday (28) for the 1st Public Meeting of the Collegiate Board of Directors (Dicol) of 2026. This meeting marks the resumption of the agency's regulatory agenda for the year.

The meeting starts at 9:30 am and is eagerly awaited by the regulated sector and patients. The event will be broadcast live to ensure transparency of Anvisa's decisions, available on the Agency's official YouTube channel.

Among the main items on Anvisa's agenda, the Proposal for a Collegiate Board Resolution (RDC) for the revision of RDC No. 327, from 2019, stands out. The current regulation, which deals with Cannabis products for medicinal purposes, is undergoing technical reassessment.

In addition to the revision of the current regulation, Anvisa will also discuss RDCs related to cultivation regulations. The directors' decision could directly impact access and the development of the medicinal cannabis sector in Brazil.
