GreennPlus, one of the sponsors of the Brazilian Medicinal Cannabis Congress 2025, has established itself as a reference in the market for cannabis-derived products.

Since 2020, the company has operated as an online store for medicinal cannabis oil focusing on quality, technology, and transparency, offering highly qualified and accessible products to Brazilian and German consumers.

In an interview with Sechat, the systems engineer and CEO of GreennPlus, Roberto Mattos, shared insights about the company's vision, its technological and sustainable initiatives, and the importance of regulation and science for the sector's evolution.

Science, regulation, and popularization: a triple path

According to Mattos, the regulation of medicinal cannabis needs to progress hand in hand with science and popular pressure. "My experience in the supplementation sector, since the 1990s, has shown me that science builds a solid foundation for the population to embrace these innovations. This has already happened with natural supplements and is now repeating with cannabidiol. Regulation, science, and popularization form a triangle that needs to be balanced," says the CEO.

All products marketed by GreennPlus are formulated by laboratories certified by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) of the United States, ensuring safety and efficiency. Across all fronts, the company provides detailed technical information to healthcare professionals, assisting in choosing the best treatments for patients. "Our purpose is to find completely organic products, without residues or chemical agents. We believe that the purity of ingredients is essential for correct medical application. At the same time, we work to lower costs, creating a positive cycle that encourages more people to enter this market," highlights Mattos.

GreennPlus and sustainability

Today, in medicinal cannabis cultivation, we do something similar: we designate the area, choose the seeds, monitor the entire production cycle, and in the end, we obtain a product made our way. This creates a sustainable model, without pesticides and without biological risks, such as unwanted bacteria".
Another highlight of the company is its personalized service.

"We have pharmacists who assist patients from the first contact. They help in the regulatory process with Anvisa and in adjusting the treatment, always under medical supervision. Our goal is to ensure a safe and efficient experience for all who seek us," explains Mattos.

When asked about prejudice regarding cannabis, Mattos is optimistic. "Every article I read on the subject is favorable. I no longer see negative speeches, and cannabis is increasingly present in various social sectors. This combination of factors is breaking down prejudice, and Sechat has been a fundamental tool for this change, with well-founded information," he emphasizes.

CBCM 2025

For Mattos, events like the Brazilian Medicinal Cannabis Congress and the Medical Cannabis Fair are essential for sector development. "I participate in all of them, and each has brought valuable learnings. I met brilliant people and had enriching exchanges. An event of this magnitude provides broad discussions and essential networking to strengthen the market," says the CEO.
