In the world of medical cannabis, where every drop of oil can represent relief, quality of life, and dignity for thousands of Brazilian patients, there is a silent and essential mechanism that makes everything happen: logistics. And it is precisely at this stage, often invisible but absolutely vital, that Courier Brasil Express stands out.
It will be present at the 4th Brazilian Congress on Medical Cannabis and will participate in the Medical Cannabis Fair 2025. The events start this Thursday (22) and run until Saturday (24), at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo/SP, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, and supporters of the cannabis sector.
Headquartered in São Paulo and operating nationwide, Courier Brasil Express is a Brazilian company specialized in the import and delivery of cannabis-based products, such as cannabidiol (CBD), strictly complying with all regulations of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa). More than just a transportation service, Courier has been a bridge between hope and access, connecting brands, prescriptions, and, most importantly, people.
“We are talking about medications that change lives. Consumption has grown significantly: just at the beginning of 2025, we saw an 18% increase compared to last year,” explains Fernanda Vanzeli, commercial manager of Courier Brasil Express, who was featured in episode #36 of Deusa Cast. “People are more open to this treatment, and this has driven not only demand but also the speed of processes, including those of Anvisa itself, which now releases imports within four to five days after the request,” she reports.
According to Fernanda, this faster pace has allowed deliveries in as little as two days, depending on the patient's location. “We are working to further optimize this type of delivery. We have daily shipments, especially with the United States, which remains the main exporter of these products to Brazil,” the manager points out.
However, not everything is simple when it comes to transporting cannabis across borders. “The biggest difficulty today lies in the regulations of the exporting countries themselves. Although cannabis is already legalized, there is often still no clear regulation to take the product out of there. Colombia, for example, is a more bureaucratic country in this process, but we have managed to carry out operations via courier mode, respecting local requirements,” she emphasizes.
In addition to direct work with patients, Courier also provides services for companies and brand representatives in Brazil, facilitating the logistical flow so that the product arrives complete at its destination. “When the patient makes a purchase, they acquire everything at once. This optimizes the process, avoids wear and tear, and provides a smoother experience for those already undergoing a delicate treatment,” explains Fernanda.
Despite the advances, challenges persist. “Not every airline accepts transporting this type of cargo. It was with a lot of argumentation, documentation, and persistence that we managed to break some of these barriers. Today, I have a good frequency with the USA, but for other countries, the path is still more complex, and the freight is more expensive.”
Courier Brasil Express continues, then, in this daily effort to make accessible what should already be a basic right: safe and efficient access to a treatment that transforms realities. And on this journey, each box transported carries not just a product, but a promise of care, well-being, and future.
