The Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) of Goiânia approved the creation of an identification card for patients using medical cannabis. Proposed by Councilman Lucas Kitão, the project establishes that this card will be recognized as a legally valid document, proving the therapeutic use of medical cannabis and ensuring patients' rights, such as access to appropriate medications and treatments.
In addition, the initiative aims to raise awareness in society about the importance and legitimacy of the therapeutic use of cannabis, as well as to provide legal security to patients, preventing legal complications related to the use of medical cannabis.
