Medicinal Cannabis Enters Globo's Agenda

TV Globo aired yesterday (02) a discussion on a very important topic for people's health, but one that is surrounded by controversy. The host of the Encontro program, Fátima Bernardes, showcased cases of people who are achieving a better quality of life through the use of medicinal Cannabis.

One of the cases showed three children suffering from severe autism who only improved after using marijuana-based oil. According to the children's mother, before knowing about cannabidiol, one of her children did not speak, did not adapt to school life, and was aggressive. According to the children's mother, Bruna Fernanda, Cannabis brought peace to the family.

Legal issues on the topic were also discussed by experts, such as the granting of injunctions for the use or cultivation of medicinal marijuana.
