In a country still divided by the controversy surrounding cannabis, a recent statement echoed strongly and calmly. In a webinar hosted by the US Federal Administration of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (SAMHSA), researcher Ryan Vandry from the renowned Johns Hopkins University shed light where many still see shadows: the legalization of marijuana is not associated with increased use among young people.
The statement did not come out of nowhere, but was supported by decades of data and a careful analysis of changes in state policies.
