Request Authorization to Import Cannabis-Derived Products
The authorization is a document issued by Anvisa allowing individuals to import Cannabis-derived products for their health treatment. The criteria are outlined in RDC nº 660/20222.
The authorization is valid for two years, during which patients or their legal representatives can import the authorized product. To do so, simply present the medical prescription indicating the imported quantity at Anvisa's posts (at airports and border areas).
Remember: Anvisa does not supply the products, it only authorizes their importation.
Patients (or their legal representatives) who have a proven and essential medical need for the product.

Treatment to be provided to the user during service
The user should receive, according to the principles expressed in law nº 13.460/17, service based on the following guidelines

· Presumption of the user's good faith;
· Equality;
· Efficiency;
· Safety; and
· Ethics

The public service user, as established by law nº13.460/17, is entitled to in-person service, when necessary, in healthy, safe, signposted, accessible, and suitable facilities for the service and care.
Information on who is entitled to priority treatment
Priority service is entitled to people with disabilities, seniors aged 60 or older, pregnant women, nursing mothers, people with young children, and obese individuals, as established by law 10.048, of November 8, 2000
