São Bernardo inaugurates medical cannabis clinic
Second city in Greater ABC to have specialized care expands regional presence of Flor da Vida Association, with support from Metalworkers Union
São Bernardo do Campo (SP) is the second municipality in Greater ABC to inaugurate a medical cannabis clinic. The Flor da Vida Medical Cannabis Space started operating on August 1st and represents a breakthrough in access to therapeutic treatments with plant derivatives.
The clinic is located behind the Metalworkers Union of ABC, a partner in the initiative alongside the Therapeutic Association Flor da Vida. The collaboration between civil and social entities has been an important pillar for the expansion of medicinal cannabis use in the region.
During the inauguration ceremony in São Bernardo, the Vice President of the Greater ABC Intermunicipal Consortium and Mayor of Ribeirão Pires, Guto Volpi, celebrated the regional progress on the topic and emphasized the innovative nature of the project.
The Sechat Portal was present at the opening of the new space and spoke with representatives of the union, the association, and members of the community. The speeches highlighted the social and therapeutic impact that the new unit can bring to the Greater ABC population.
