Ride with Larry - Documentary - Larry Smith was an American man who suffered from Parkinson's Disease for over 20 years of his life. Upon diagnosis, he tried various treatments until he was recommended the treatment with medicinal cannabis. This moment in Larry's story was depicted in a 2013 documentary called Ride with Larry. Some videos, parts of the documentary, have been circulating on the internet in recent days due to the rapid and visually noticeable effect that cannabis had on Larry in his first dosage. 

To this day, a cure has not been discovered for this neurological disease that affects a person's movements and speech. It is very common for people with Parkinson's to develop constant and involuntary movements, eventually hindering them from carrying out daily activities. In Larry's case, this prevented him from riding his recumbent bicycle, a sport that was his passion, and from having a good quality of life.

It was not the family's intention for Larry to undergo treatment with something that was illegal in his state; however, there were not many treatment options left that Larry had not yet tried. The moment he ingests cannabis for the first time is truly impactful; within just 4 minutes, he reduces at least 80% of hand tremors and other involuntary movements, he even could recognize his voice again, which was also greatly affected by Parkinson's Disease.
