Cannabis, maternidade e coragem: a verdade viva de Luana Piovani

Luana Piovani has the gift of transforming pain into power. In a life marked by exposure, art, and motherhood, she allows herself to be whole with all the layers that this involves. In a segment posted on the Instagram of the podcast Acessíveiscast, hosted by the also authentic Titi Müller and MariMoon, Luana shared, with the frankness that has always accompanied her, that she uses cannabis as an adult. And that, although she is a liberal mother, she does not know if her children will follow the same path.

"I smoke (marijuana), but my children are the children of liberal parents, so they may not want to smoke," she said, in a light tone, from someone who understands that freedom also means allowing choices different from your own.

Some time later, in her Instagram Stories, Luana appeared smoking a marijuana cigarette with ease. Not for provocation. But for transparency. In times of filters, she remains bare of truths. A woman who does not hide who she is or what she feels.

Trauma, care, and choice

But behind this solar and intense woman is also a history of silent pains. In a recent interview with Fantástico, Luana revealed childhood traumas, such as her father's abandonment at the age of 5, an emotional mourning she carried for decades.

This internal scar, which shaped many of her insecurities, made her seek alternatives to cope with anxiety and emotional suffering over the years. Cannabis, in this context, emerges as a tool for care. Not as an escape. But as a reconnection.

“This plant is medicinal, yes,” would say any woman who, like her, understood that taking care of mental health is not a whim, but rather, an urgency. And that this can include, among therapies, breathing, and self-knowledge, also the conscious use of cannabis as an ally.

Motherhood without oppression

Luana is the mother of three children. And she has never romanticized it. On the contrary: she exposes, with rawness and humor, the challenges and contradictions of raising human beings while trying to maintain her own sanity. And in this place of imperfect love, she reaffirms the importance of freedom in parenting.

She does not impose, does not hide, and believes that education is less about control and more about the coherence between what is said and what is lived.

Feminism, freedom, and cannabis

Luana Piovani has always used her visibility to raise necessary debates. She has spoken about domestic violence, women's rights, politics, parenting, and now, cannabis, a still taboo topic, but one that gains strength when it finds voices like hers.

Her stance is not merely propagandistic. It is human. And, for that reason, necessary! By openly discussing cannabis use, she helps to destigmatize a plant that has saved lives, alleviated invisible pains, and promoted overall health.

Mother, actress, citizen, feminist, cannabis smoker, wounded in reconstruction. Luana continues to be all of this at the same time, with the honesty of someone who has cried a lot and now wants to live in peace. Even if that peace includes a breeze from time to time.
