With the advancement of regulation in the United States following the approval of the Agricultural Law of 2018, CBD cream has become one of the most sought-after products for those seeking the therapeutic benefits of cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychotropic cannabinoid extracted from the cannabis plant.

What Is CBD Cream Used For?
The CBD cream is applied directly to the skin, offering localized relief for muscle pain, inflamed joints, and even dermatological problems. It acts on the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which regulates functions such as pain, appetite, and mood.
According to experts, CBD interacts with skin receptors and muscle tissues, modulating sensations of pain and inflammation. Therefore, CBD cream is widely used to treat:
Chronic and localized pain;
Joint inflammations;
Skin conditions such as psoriasis and dermatitis;

How to Use CBD Cream Correctly
Using CBD cream is simple. Apply directly to the affected area, gently massaging until the product is absorbed. Do not use on wounded or irritated skin.
It is essential to check the CBD concentration in the product. A cream with low dosage may not offer the desired effects. Start with a moderate dose and increase as needed.
How to Choose a Good CBD Cream?
When choosing a CBD cream, prioritize brands with transparency. Check if the product:
Has a certificate of analysis (COA) from a third-party laboratory;
Follows good manufacturing practices (CGMP);
Clearly informs the CBD concentration;
Full or broad-spectrum products are preferred by many experts due to the entourage effect, which enhances therapeutic effects by combining cannabinoids and terpenes.

Anvisa Studies Revising RDC 327/2019 and Including Cannabis Topical Products in Regulation
The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has initiated internal discussions to revise Collegiate Board Resolution (RDC) No. 327/2019, which currently regulates the import and commercialization of cannabis-based products for medicinal purposes in Brazil.
Among the points under analysis is the possible inclusion of topical products, such as creams, ointments, and lotions with cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids, expanding the forms of administration currently allowed by the regulation. Currently, RDC 327 only authorizes oral or nasal use products, with a medical prescription.
