Portugal: Infarmed atualiza listas e remove licenças de mais duas empresas de cannabis medicinal

The official lists published by the National Authority of Medicines and Health Products I.P. (Infarmed) have undergone significant changes.

The companies Qanali, Lda. (NIF 515558508, Coimbra district) and Batherafarm Unipessoal, Lda. (NIF 515011193, Setúbal district) are no longer listed among the entities with active licenses in the categories of cultivation, import, and export.

The latter is also not found on the Infarmed portal in the category of medicinal cannabis manufacturing, according to an analysis conducted by CannaReporter.

This update represents a significant change in the composition of the national market, as both companies were included in previous listings with valid authorizations. Infarmed has not published any public note clarifying the reasons for the removal, which may be related to expiration, non-renewal of licenses, or internal administrative changes.
