The electric BMW i3 model uses natural hemp fibers in the composition of its interior door panels, an engineering solution combining lightness, strength, and environmental responsibility.

The German manufacturer's application of hemp in the automotive industry aims to replace conventional plastics with plant-based composites. According to technical data from the sector, hemp fibers reduce structural weight by up to 30%, directly contributing to the electric vehicle's energy efficiency and extending its range.
