Psychedelic Science 2025 brings together science, business, and policies on psychedelics in Denver

Event

The largest global event on psychedelic substances will be held until June 20, 2025. The city of Denver, Colorado (USA), has been chosen to host Psychedelic Science 2025: The Integration, a conference promoted by MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). The expectation is to bring together over 600 speakers and an audience of over 7,000 people.

Organized by one of the most influential entities in the sector, the event offers specific tracks for researchers, healthcare professionals, investors, legislators, and community leaders. This year's focus is on integrating science, business, and sustainable social practices in advancing psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

Neuroscience and clinical innovation are highlights of the program

The conference will address the latest findings involving substances such as psilocybin, MDMA, LSD, DMT, and ketamine. Renowned researchers such as Robin Carhart-Harris (University of California), Michael Bogenschutz (NYU), Gül Dölen (UC Berkeley), and Nolan Williams (Stanford) are expected to present scientific evidence on the therapeutic effects of psychedelics in conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and OCD.

The program also includes panels on clinical protocols, ethical regulation, and methodological challenges for the approval of these treatments by regulatory agencies such as the FDA and EMA.

Private sector and equitable access take center stage

The meeting will also feature a dedicated space for the psychedelic industry. Companies like Compass Pathways, Beckley Psytech, Cybin, and Psyence Biomed will discuss regulatory scenarios, sustainable business models, and challenges to ensure equitable access to treatments—especially in developing countries.

Key topics include strategies for startup funding, logistical challenges in compound distribution, and the role of the traditional pharmaceutical industry in this new market.

Public policy, culture, and community on the same stage

In addition to scientific and corporate discussions, Psychedelic Science 2025 aims to broaden the dialogue with society. Representatives from states like Oregon and Colorado, pioneers in psychedelic regulation in the United States, will participate in panels focusing on the safe implementation of these policies.

The cultural program includes immersive experiences, integrative practices, community care workshops, shows, and artistic activities. The intention is to highlight the role of psychedelics in collective transformation, not just individual treatment.
