The debut event was attended by over 40 doctors from various specialties — including physiatry, orthopedics, and neurosurgery — and featured a lecture by Dr. Pedro Pierro, a neurosurgeon and scientific director of Sechat and the Brazilian Congress of Medicinal Cannabis, on the use of cannabis in pain treatment.

The evening also marked the beginning of a partnership with Santa Cannabis, an association that has been supporting patients for years and spreading knowledge about the medicinal use of the plant. The goal is to expand access to cannabinoid medicine and strengthen the support network among doctors, patients, and healthcare professionals.

“Cannabis has changed my life so much that I make a point of passing it forward. I am so happy working with cannabis because the social aspect is incredible,” shared Janaína, who has been working in the field of orthoses, prostheses, and special materials representation for 18 years.

The entrepreneur, who also uses medicinal cannabis, reports that before starting cannabinoid therapy, she took four medications to sleep and deal with anxiety. Three years ago, she started using medicinal cannabis and noticed a profound transformation in her routine and well-being.

“I want to offer our partner doctors an opportunity to better serve patients,” Janaína emphasizes. According to her, Sampa Cannabis has also invested in a specialized sales and support team, prepared to guide both professionals and patients throughout the treatment process.

Pedro Sabaciauskis, president of Santa Cannabis, also attended the event and highlighted the importance of cannabinoid medicine fulfilling its purpose. “For us at Santa Cannabis, it was a joy to be invited to partner with Sampa Cannabis. We see in this invitation a deep affinity with our values — the commitment to patients, the focus on treatment results with medicinal oil, and the importance of empowering doctors who understand the role of associations as a legitimate and necessary alternative for national production. It is a union of purposes, built on institutional, social, and Brazilian values, to offer safe and democratic support to both doctors and patients.”
