The historic decision recognizes the association's right to produce cannabis oil to treat serious illnesses, benefiting over 700 families in the state. The association has been in a nearly decade-long legal battle to receive authorization for the planting and cultivation of medicinal cannabis to serve its patients. Currently, they serve over 700 families, offering locally produced products sold at cost price.
