US Concentrates Nearly 66% of Cannabis Products Imported by Brazil

The United States leads by a wide margin as the origin of cannabis-derived products imported to Brazil, according to data from Anvisa's Technical Note 58/2025. The country accounts for 65.9% of imports, followed by Colombia (4.6%), Canada (3.6%), the Netherlands (3.4%), and Uruguay (3.1%). Together, these five countries represent over 80% of the Brazilian market, while the others make up 18.7%.

In terms of authorized products, the United States also tops the list with 408 items registered. Colombia holds the second position with 28 products, followed by Canada (22), the Netherlands (21), and Uruguay (19). Other countries with significant presence include Switzerland (18), the United Kingdom (16), Spain (12), Portugal (8), and Germany (8).
